Yu launches YUREKA 2 with 16 MP camera and Snapdragon 625 chipset at Rs 11,999

Yu on September 14 announced its newest model to the YUREKA series called as the YUREKA 2. Yureka 2[/caption]The phone has a 5.5-inch full HD display with a curved 2.5D glass. In terms of the core hardware the device has an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset alongside 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM which is expandable up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3,930 mAh battery which is supported by Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.In terms of the camera the phone packs in a 16 MP rear shooter with a dual-LED flash coupled with a front camera with an 8 MP sensor. The phone offers dual-SIM support in which one slot accepts a micro SIM while the other a nano SIM. Connectivity options on the phone include a micro-USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone also has a gyroscope, proximity sensor,  ambient light sensor and an accelerometer.The launch comes after recently Yu made a comeback and launched the Yu Yureka Black budget handset at a price of Rs 8,999. The Yu brand has been launched by Micromax co-founder, Rahul Sharma.
