You can Now Pay Through your Phone Bills for Samsung Apps

Samsung’s application store for mobiles and TVs now takes payment through your mobile account.

Samsung’s very own application store, Samsung Apps has introduced a new, innovative way to purchase apps. Instead of making payments through credit cards, prepaid cards or cyber cash, users can buy these apps and the money will be deducted directly from the user’s account.

Making payments a lot more convenient!

Thankfully, there’s no partiality towards postpaid users. Users with a prepaid SIM card can also purchase these apps and the cost will be deducted directly from their balance. The new payment option means that there’s no unnecessary revealing of sensitive information like your credit card number.

Samsung is bringing in the new payment option in a phased out manner and has already rolled out the services in eleven countries, including India. For this new payment option, Samsung has also announced a promo called ‘Buy Hot Apps, Get Cool Gadgets!’ Any users making a purchase at that time are entitled for a prize draw where random winners can win prizes. The promos will be held from 17th May to 20th June and winners will be announced on the 27th of June.
