Xolo has launched a new smartphone called "Xolo A500S" for Rs 6,999. The dual-SIM smartphone is available in four colours - black, blue, red and white - and runs Android 4.2.

Key features of the phone include a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 512 MB of RAM. The screen size is 4-inches with TFT touchscreen and 233 pixels per inch density and WVGA 480x800 resolution. The phone has a 5 megapixel camera and a front VGA camera.

The XOLO A500S comes with an internal memory of 4GB which is expandable up to 32GB. The phone is packed with a 1400 mAh battery which the company claims offers up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G and 8 hours on 3G.

The sensors include Ambient Light, Proximity and an Accelerometer sensor. Xolo has also included the Xolo Secure, an anti-theft app which backs up call logs, SMS and also tracks the phone's location remotely in case it is stolen.
