The rumours around Redmi's upcoming phone launch have flooded the internet. The company is set to unveil a 48 MP AI-enabled dual rear camera phone at the event which is going to take place on 10 January at 2 PM in Beijing.Now a new teaser has surfaced on Weibo which refers to the upcoming phone as 'Little King Kong'.[caption id="attachment_5868251" align="alignnone" width="1024"]

The listing revealed that the device is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC and is running Android 9 Pie. The phone also was seen to sport 6 GB RAM.Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had also announced that the Redmi brand would be splitting off from Xiaomi. This might be made official on 10 January, alongside the launch of the new Redmi phone and the new "surprise" product hinted at in the post.There is no other information about the products.
