Xiaomi Redmi Note goes sale today at 2PM exclusively on Flipkart

Xiaomi's Redmi Note will have it's second round of flash sale today on e-commerce site, Flipkart. The sale will begin at 2PM, though the company has not yet disclosed the number of headsets that will be going on sale.On December 2, the first batch of 50,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphones got sold in a matter of six seconds, according to Hugo Barra,Vice President of Xiaomi International.Today, the second batch will be going on sale at 2PM, keeping up with its trend of Tuesday flash sales.The Redmi Note has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display screen. In terms of hardware, it boasts a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor along with a 2GB RAM. On the memory front, it has an internal storage of 8GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB. It also sports a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. It pack in an 3100mAh battery and runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI OS.The 3G dual-SIM variant of the Redmi Note is priced at Rs 8,999, while the 4G variant priced at Rs 9,999 is expected to be available from mid-December.
