Xiaomi Redmi 4 to go on sale on Amazon today in an exclusive offer for Amazon Prime subscribers

The Xiaomi Redmi 4, the company's entry-level offering, will be sold on Amazon India at 5 pm today, in an offer which is extended only to Amazon Prime users ahead of the e-commerce website's Amazon Prime Day sale. The phone is said to go on sale an hour ahead of the Prime Day sale.Amazon India is also offering a range of offers with the phone including a year's subscription of Hungama Music along with three months of Hungama Play subscription. Vodafone users also enjoy 45 GB of free data. Kindle also adds a promotional Rs 200 credit on logging in to the Kindle app through the phone.The Redmi 4 which was launched by Xiaomi back in May, comes in three variants — the base variant priced at Rs 6,999 which comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, a second version with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage priced at Rs 8,999 and a version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage at a price of Rs 10,999.The Xiaomi Redmi 4 runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The phone features an all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display punches way above its price category in terms of build. The Redmi 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture.
