Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 spotted on Chinese certification site

Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, the larger sibling of the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 6 has been spotted on a Chinese 3C Certification website, waiting for approval. The Mi 6 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with a slightly larger display and similar internals. The listing states that Mi 6 Plus has been designated as Model MDE40 by Xiaomi.According to a report by playfuldroid, it is expected that Xiaomi will launch the Mi 6 Plus two months from now sporting a bigger display and slightly improved internals like storage variants or RAM. One important thing to note is that Xiaomi has not released any official statement about the launch or announcement of Mi 6 Plus at the time of writing.The company did not mention the Mi 6 Plus during the Mi 6 launch event. Xiaomi launched the Mi 6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, four-sided curved 3D glass and 6 GB RAM. The smartphone sports a 5.15-inch display with eye care, with 1 nit ‘ultra-dark night display’and 4096 smart backlight adjustment levels.Mi 6 packs 3,350 mAh battery, splash resistance and a dual camera setup on the back. The dual-camera array which packs a wide-angle camera module with 12MP image resolution along with a telephoto camera module with 12MP image resolution to provide the ideal amount of details and depth-of-field in the final images.
