In what will be an exclusive release to the Xbox Live, a new interactive TV project called The Music Room will be hosted by Microsoft. The announcement came a day before Microsoft’s Xbox event.
The move to get The Music Room onboard is part of the company’s plan to increase the Xbox entertainment content. This move can also give Xbox users hope for more content in the future, as the company seeks to increase its presence in the overall entertainment section.

The show will function like a customisable adventure, with Gold members being able to choose from a variety of options to decide which direction the show will take. Users will be able to take part in an interactive polling, which will decide the show's finale in real time, according to sources that spoke to Edge.
The Music Room is the latest in a series of decisions that Microsoft has taken to increase its entertainment bandwidth. The platform holder had earlier announced that they would divert all TV resources to the Xbox project. In a blog post put up in April, Microsoft announced a deal with Ericsson for the company’s Mediaroom business.
The company had also announced at an event held earlier in the year that it would open up a studio in LA. The Xbox Entertainment Studio will come up with “visionary original interactive content” for users.
