Earlier reports on the white Nexus 4 had said that it may come with Android 4.3 upon its June 10 launch. However, according to the details at the moment, the fact that the phone will come with Android 4.3 cannot be confirmed, however they say it is possible, especially if it launches on June 10. It may even come sooner than that, the report says.

Earlier this month, guys at Android and me managed to lay their hands on the white Nexus 4 smartphone and said that "it's a carbon copy of the previous Nexus 4, just with a different color casing".

They even went as far as saying that the white Nexus 4 will arrive on the Google Play store on June 10, with Android 4.3 in tow.

The report said, "Sources at Google say they wanted to demonstrate their ability to roll out new services and APIs without upgrading the Android firmware, and it appears they made their point." Android 4.3 is expected to be a rather minor update, according to the report. It said the developer API level should go up to v18, receive support for Bluetooth Smart and, maybe, OpenGL ES 3.0.
