WhatsApp rolls out Android beta program via Google Play Store

WhatsApp finally opened up its Android beta software program to the general public. In short, those who would like to try out some new and unreleased features or have early access to the same get the app via the Google Play Store.But before you head to the Play Store to download the Beta app, we must tell you that it is not exactly a direct download. Those interested in trying out the beta version of WhatsApp will have to head to the service's Play Store beta listing meaning that you will have to first sign up to become a beta tester.And doing that is fairly simple. You head to the page by clicking here and then tap on 'Become a Beta Tester' button. And that's about it. You are now officially a WhatsApp Beta tester. But now that you have signed up, the waiting games begins as the update will take a few hours to arrive to your smartphone. The Beta version of the app will arrive to your smartphone as an update via the Play Store.If you are tired of the bugs and new features, you can leave the beta program by heading to the same page. But the process is a bit cumbersome. Switching to the public version can be done in two steps.1. Uninstall the testing version2.
