At the time of launch, Apple had not disclosed the exact RAM used in their new iPhones iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. However, a tear-down by iFixit proved that the devices run a 2GB RAM. Now, a new video by iDownload blog has offered us the difference between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s after loading several websites in Safari. The video proves how the iPhone 6s has been put through a test and has been compared to the iPhone 6 in terms of RAM. According to the video, the added RAM in the new smartphone was able to keep more tabs open without having to keep refreshing them when they were opened. The added RAM can also help more apps to remain active in memory without relaunching as well. Another issue resolved with the extra RAM is that now, Safari was able to load more intensive websites, much faster than its predecessor.According to a previous report, analysts expect 12 million to 13 million phones to fly off the shelves in the first weekend, up from more than 10 million last year when the launch of the hugely successful iPhone 6 was delayed in China, the world’s biggest smartphone market.
