Twitter updates search options on site and tweaks Windows 8 app

Earlier today, Twitter announced on the company's official Twitter account that they are upgrading the search feature on their website.

So according to this tweet, as you search on Twitter, your suggested searches will show up in two categories. One, the saved searches you have previously done, and secondly, results of pictures, people and social context.

While this is not expected to change a user's experience on the site, it should save some time and thought when you're searching for something or someone in specific.

This change will bring the desktop version of Twitter at par with the mobile version, which already showed saved searches.

Besides this, the micro-blogging site has also released an update for its application on Windows 8. Users will now be able to sign in on multiple accounts at one time. Besides this, Twitter will also provide support for lists; yours as well as others.
