Tata Teleservices and Acer Launch a Photon Plus Embedded Aspire One
It comes with built-in Photon Plus offering anytime connection.

Tata Teleservices and Acer launch the Aspire One AOD 260 netbook in India, with built-in Tata Photon Plus allowing users to connect to the internet at anytime. The embedded Photon Plus will offer access speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps. Another feature of the Acer-TTSL partnership is that the Aspire One netbook will be available at all TTSL retail outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, in the first phase of launch.

The Netbook sports a 10.1" screen with LED back-lit and 16:9 aspect ratio, Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB HDD 5400 RPM, six-cell battery with eight hours of life, Windows 7 Starter preloaded, three USB Ports, Bluetooth connectivity and in-built wireless capability, amid many other features.
The product is priced at Rs 17,999 + taxes and will be available in Delhi and Mumbai in the initial launch phase.
