Sony expands audio range with headphones starting at Rs 790

Sony India has expanded its audio range with two new headphones and a one new set of earphones namely,  MDR- XB450, MDR – XB250 and MDR-AS200. Priced at Rs 790, the AS200 earphone is available in bright orange and blue colours and will be available starting this month. On the other hand, the XB450 and XB250 are priced at Rs 2,190 and Rs 1,490, and will hit stores in September.  While the XB250 is available in black and white colour options, the XB450 also comes in red, blue and yellow. The MDR-XB450 headphone supports a frequency response of 5Hz-22000Hz. It has a 30mm dynamic driver unit that promises high quality, powerful sound while keeping the bass level high. Offering more colour options than its predecessor, the MDR-XB450 sports a swivel folding style for convenient storage. The MDR-XB250 headphone also comes with a 30mm dynamic driver unit, swivel folding style and pressure relieving earpads for prolonged usage. Lastly, the MDR - AS200 earphone comes fitted with a 13.5mm high sensitivity driver. Sony claims that it offers premium sound and is the first-of-its-kind product from the company at a very competitive price. The earphone also features water and sweat resistant capabilities, and an adjustable ear loop to fit wide range of ear sizes. All three audio accessories come with a flat serrated cord that allows tangle-free experience while on the go. The new headphones and earphone will be available in all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India.
