Sony has announced price drops for the Xperia X and the Xperia Z5 premium smartphones.

Sony has announced price drops for the Xperia X and the Xperia Z5 premium smartphones. The price of the Xperia X has been slashed from Rs 48,990 to Rs 38,990. The Xperia Z5 premium got Rs 8,000 price cut, and is now down to Rs 47,990 from a price of Rs 55,990.Xperia-X-1The Xperia X has a curved glass display, and is loaded with a battery that lasts for two days. The revised pricing takes the price point below the Samsung Galaxy S7. The price was on the steep side considering the under-powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor on board. Check out our detailed review of the Xperia X, to know more.  Sony Xperia Z5 PremiumThe Xperia Z5 premium was the world's first phone released with a 4K Display. It has a 23 MP rear camera, and is powered by the  Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The phone is waterproof, and comes with a quick charge battery. The battery lasts for two days. Even after the price cut, the device remains in the premium smartphone pricing tier.
