Samsung slashes prices of Galaxy S III and Note II

If you're hoping to buy a new smartphone but want a high end device, this is probably the best time to go looking for one. Samsung, the leading smartphone-maker in India has slashed the prices of two its prized devices, the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.

On the official Samsung website, the Galaxy S III is now available for Rs 29,480. On Flipkart the smartphone is available for Rs 29, 200 while Infibeam currently offers users Rs 28,900 for the blue and red colours of the phone. HomeShop 18 also has the smartphone for Rs 28,900. This is a considerable decrease in price for the S III as the smartphone's original selling price in India was Rs 42,500.

Meanwhile the Galaxy Note II is now available for Rs 35,600 on the official Samsung site. The phone was launched in India at Rs 39,900. The device is available on Flipkart for Rs 35,400, while Infibeam has an offer of Rs 34,900. HomeShop 18 also has the smartphone for Rs 34,900.
