Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and S 10.5 launched in India starting at Rs 37,800

Within a month of launching the Galaxy Tab S series in the US, the nifty tablets are now launched in India. The new Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 are expected to give the Apple iPads a run for their money, at least as far as specs and user experience are concerned, but the pricing is higher than Apple's offering. The 16GB Tab S 10.5 is priced at Rs 44,800, while the 16GB Tab S 8.4 is priced at Rs 37,800. For comparison, the iPad Air (Wi-Fi only) is priced at Rs 35,900, while the Retina iPad mini has a price of Rs 28,900. This is the first time we are seeing Samsung make such a large Super AMOLED display, so we can expect deep black and vivid colours.
