A new Samsung smartphone has been confirmed in China. Dubbed as the Galaxy C7 Pro, the smartphone is now listed on the company's Chinese website which should sit between with Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C9 Pro.The handset had leaked in the past and the official specs fall in line with the leaks. It features a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. At the back there is a 16MP camera and even the front has similar unit with an f/1.9 aperture. The inbuilt storage is 64GB which can be further expanded using a microSD card of up to 256GB. Rest of the specs include 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Samsung Pay, USB Type-C port, fingerprint reader, 3,300mAh battery and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The smartphone will be offered in three colors - Maple Leaf Gold, Rose Pink and Arctic Blue. According to the Samsung China website, it will also feature a liquid cooling system. Here is a rough translation of what the company has written:High performance means that the CPU runs at high power and high temperature. For this reason, at the same time as ensuring slim design, we also sought more effective device temperature control solutions. The Galaxy C7 Pro optimizes energy consumption of the processor, introducing better thermal efficiency through its heat pipe cooling system. Compared with the traditional temperatures of graphite cooling, a heat pipe cooling system - through the directional flow of liquid, and like a heat-absorbing, efficient radiator - is like giving your enthusiast computer an efficient water cooling radiator. While there is no confirmation around the pricing, pre-orders of the Galaxy C7 Pro will begin from January 16 in China.
