Samsung Galaxy A9 specifications and pricing tipped online

Upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 has now been spotted via a leaked promotional page which offers a list of the specifications as well. The device, which was listed on the company website was also rumoured to be priced around CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs 32,000).

Upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 has now been spotted via a leaked promotional page which offers a list of the specifications as well. The device, which was earlier listed on the company website was also rumoured to be priced around  CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs 32,000).In terms of specifications, the metal-clad Samsung Galaxy A9 is likely to sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The leak also states that the device will sport a 13 MP rear camera along with an 8 MP front facing camera.Samsung_640Apart from these, the early listing stated that the smartphone will be powered by a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 620 octa-core processor paired with 3 GB RAM. It will have an internal storage of 32 GB, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card. Connectivity features include GPS, NFC, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi. The device will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will pack in a 4000mAh battery.This month, the company officially launched three new metal-clad handsets in its Galaxy A series – Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. The smartphones will be available in China by mid-December. It is later expected to arrive in other markets. However, there is no word on the pricing yet. The Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 smartphones are believed to be the mid-range alternatives to the Galaxy S series.
