Redmi Note 7 durability tested again, used as skates in new test video
Redmi Note 7 thrown down the stairs, used as roller skates in latest durability test videos

Redmi Note 7 price starts at CNY 999. Image: Weibo[/caption]While the Chinese smartphone brand recently announced that the Redmi Note 7 will get Xiaomi Mi Mix 3's Super Scene Camera feature it has now released two durability test footage. The durability tests likely meant to promote the phone (given Redmi is aiming to sell 1 million units of the phone by this month) shows the phone being thrown done the stairs in one video and another with a man skating on top of the phone. In the first video, Redmi's new CEO Lu Weibing is seen throwing the Redmi Note 7 down a staircase. The phone fell down 18 stairs and survived the test with no external damage. The test didn't really seem to justify the Redmi Note 7's durability as it was performed after putting the phone inside a trash can, sealing it with duct tape and then throwing it down the stairs.
