Recently we heard that OnePlus is working on a refreshed version of their latest flagship the OnePlus 3. While the company itself didn’t say anything about the smartphone, rumours suggested that it would be the same device with a new processor and an updated camera. Now chip maker Qualcomm has almost made the rumoured device official as it just revealed that a new OnePlus device is on the way. It also said that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s new high-end Snapdragon 821 processor. It is safe to assume that the company is teasing the OnePlus 3T which is expected to be unveiled on the 14th of November.https://twitter.com/Qualcomm/status/795677902117502976?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwExpect the handset to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, of course the new Snapdragon 821 processor and a new Sony IMX398 sensor for the camera. No other changes or additions have been reported as of yet so the rest could remain the same as the OnePlus 3. This means a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of non-expandable storage space, a 3000 mAh battery. The price will see an increase of about $80 (Rs 5,300 approx) which means the new OnePlus 3T could have a $479 (Rs 32,000 approx) price tag.Another rumour suggests that it will see a slight bump in the battery with a 3,300mAH unit and a new black variant. which sounds excellent. The refresh for the OnePlus 3 is probably a response to newer smartphone flagships. The Google Pixel/Pixel XL, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and a few others have adopted the new Snapdragon 821. With this refresh, OnePlus is probably trying to stay in the game until the new powerhouse for Qualcomm (Snapdragon 830) arrives.
