PSN Attacks Done Using Amazon's Servers: Reports
Reports suggest that the attack was a well-planned one.

Step-by-step attack..
As per reports on Bloomberg, the hack attacks were launched using Amazon EC2 servers. The hackers rented a server on AmazonEC2 and completed their hack plan. Strangely, the hackers didn’t break into the servers, but rented it and followed all procedures as per the legal norms, except that the details they provided were false. Although Sony has refused to comment much on this matter, and Amazon maintained a defensive stand, this news surely raises serious questions over the security offered by cloud computing.
People familiar with this matter, now refer to the PSN attack to be a meticulously planned, and systematically executed.
