Plantronics launches Voyager Legend, Marque 2 bluetooth headsets

Plantronics has announced the launch of two products, the Voyager Legend and Marque2 bluetooth headsets. As per an official statement by Plantronics, the Voyager headset is equipped with the Smart Sensor technology and voice enabled controls. It has three microphones and DSP that optimise your voice, and minimise noise caused by wind, movement, and background sounds. The Smart Sensor technology directs calls to your phone or headset and enables you to automatically answer by placing the headset on your ear. The Voyager Legend proactively delivers voice alerts to keep you informed of battery level, connection status and announces caller name. The headset also takes voice control commands such as “pair”, “answer” or “ignore”.

The Voyager Legend line will include a version designed for use with Unified Communications (UC) including accessories that make it simple to make and receive calls from your mobile phone or PC. The Voyager Legend UC includes the battery-powered carrying case, a desktop charging stand, and a mini Bluetooth USB adapter for PC calling.

The Voyager Legend headset boasts of 7 hours of talk time with 11 days on standby, Bluetooth version 3.0, wideband audio, multipoint technology, and for the Apple users, headset battery meter for iPhone and iPad.

Along with the Voyager Legend, Plantronics is also launching the Marque 2, Plantronics’ smallest and lightest weight headset. The Marque 2 lets you listen to music or stream audio and Internet radio – all while managing calls without pressing buttons. You can use the voice control commands “answer” and “ignore.” It has dual microphones. Free apps from Plantronics enhance the Marque 2 experience. And, it’s new DeepSleep power saving mode means your Marque 2 is always ready when you are with up to 11 hours of talk time, 16 hours of standby or 150 days in hibernation mode.

The Voyager Legend and the Marque 2 will be available in all leading technology stores across the country from today. The price of the Voyager Legend is Rs 5,690, and the Marque 2 is priced at Rs 3,890.
