Oppo F3 Plus Selfie Expert set to launch on 23 March; to sport dual front camera setup

Looks like Vivo isn't the only smartphone player in town to sport a dual front-facing camera. After impressing everyone with its selfie-focussed smartphones in 2016, looks like Chinese smartphone maker Oppo wants to continue following that path. This time with a dual selfie cameras.To that effect Oppo has tweeted out that its F3 Plus Selfie Expert smartphone is all set to launch on 23 March.https://twitter.com/oppomobileindia/status/841901780334198784The new flagship from Oppo is expected to lauch at 12PM on 23 March according to the invites sent out to the press.According to the details that are known so far, the Oppo F3 Plus will be sporting a 16MP + 8MP front facing camera configuration. It will be competing with the Vivo V5 Plus which has a 20MP + 20MP front-facing camera setup. Oppo will be using one of the cameras for depth sensing according to rumours.Oppo will simultaneously launch F3 Plus of the F3 Series in five key markets – India, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam.Speaking about the F3 Plus, vice president and managing director of International Mobile, Sky Li, said, "At Oppo, product innovation drives everything that we do, and it is our key brand value. The F3 Series will take selfie technology onto another level as well as it sets new trends. We are confident it will be a great success and will set a standard that others will follow.”According to GSMArena, the Oppo F3 Plus is expected to have a 6-inch FullHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset which 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is also expected to come with a 4000mAh battery as well.We will find out on 23 March how much of everything is true.
