OnePlus withdraws OxygenOS 4.1.5 for OnePlus 3 and 3T; now rolling out 4.1.6 OTA

The OnePlus 3, 3T software update will reach a small percentage of users today with broader rollout beginning in a few days.

OnePlus through its official forums has announced the withdrawal of OxygenOS 4.1.5. The smartphone maker is now pushing out the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 4.1.6 with Android 7.1.1 via an over-the-air (OTA) update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handsets instead.The new update comes with some minor improvements over the previous one.The changelog as listed on the official OnePlus forums is as follows:New additions:- Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlusUpdates:- Updated network settings for select carriers- Updated OnePlus Community app to v1.8- Updated Android Security Patch level to 1st May 2017- Modified WiFi no internet indication iconBug fixes:- Fixed storage issue present on 3rd party filemanagers- Fixed VoLTE issue on certain Jio SIM cards- Fixed connection issue on Android AutoOptimizations:- Battery- Proximity sensor- Camera low light focus- Expanded screenshotOther changes:- Enhanced system stabilityOnePlus mentions that the OTA will be incremental. The OTA will not reach everyone immediately. According to the post, the update will reach a small percentage of users today with broader rollout beginning in a few days.
