OnePlus has launched the community build of the latest version of OxygenOS. It's where OnePlus puts out builds for the OnePlus community to test and submit feedback for improvements. These builds are mostly stable with a less number of bugs and issues in comparison to the general beta programs.OnePlus OxygenOS includes improvements in the UI design along with new and improved OnePlus apps that include, clock, weather and file manager. Allen, one of the OnePlus Staff members also claimed that the company has improved the camera software along with more robust settings and customisation features on the forum post.[caption id="attachment_331561" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Image Credits: Android Police Image Credits: Android Police[/caption]This build does not come without its fair share of known issues. Some of the issues include: Android Pay does not work and only English language is supported in several of the new OnePlus apps. The build does have some performance issues and System UI has a few issues. If you decide to install the build, then you will need to re-register the fingerprints to enable authentication. The community build will receive its dedicated branch of OTA updates instead of the regular OTA updates for normal users. To clarify, the latest community build does not bring Android 7.0 Nougat to the OnePlus 3. OnePlus users will have to wait some time for the Android 7.0 Nougat rollout. There is no official announcement from OnePlus so far regarding Android Nougat or when can we expect our OnePlus devices to receive the latest Android operating system. The company has added Feedback forms on UI/UX and Bug reporting sheet for the users to convey their concerns. You can install the build by downloading the file from here and flashing the build by ADB sideload.Allen, as usual, warns users of data loss and warns them to create a backup before they go on with sideloading the build. In addition to this launch, the company recently released the Community build for OxygenOS 3.1.0 OnePlus X, bringing Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 to the OnePlus X users. The company is also set to announce something special later today, which may or may not be the successor for OnePlus Silver Bullet earphones or the OnePlus Icons.
