OnePlus, as usual, took to its Twitter handle to post a YouTube video to announce OnePlus Bullets V2. The 1 minute and 11 seconds long video provides us with a comprehensive feel of how the earphones will look like including the features. We were expecting that it would be the Version 2 when the video was out initially.
The earphones will be available in Black Mix and White Remix colours. The company claims that the version 2 of the bullets are better optimized for reproducing sound. If the frequency response curve they posted is anything to go by, however, that improvement may not be all that big a deal. The in-ear chamber will weigh 2 grams while the earbuds will be made of silicon. The earbuds will be available in three sizes- Small, Medium, and Large. The cable length of the Bullets 2 will be an ample 1.25 meters. An inline remote and mic, along with music controls and a toggle to answer calls are also present.[caption id="attachment_331713" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Image Credit: OnePlus Image Credit: OnePlus[/caption]Bullets V2 will cover a frequency range of 20-20,000 Hz along with an optimum sound pressure level of 107dB. OnePlus has decided to include a 9mm dynamic driver in the latest earphones to make the sound reproduction better. While comparing Bullets V2 with Bullets V1 or Silver Bullets earphones, the V2 has longer cable length and an impedance of 24 ohms (vs 32 on the previous model). This is the fourth iteration of earphones starting from the OnePlus JBL E1+, OnePlus Silver Bullets and OnePlus Icons. There are no details on pricing and availability at the time of writing, but we will keep you updated in that regard.
