OnePlus 5 to feature 8 GB RAM; sale to begin on 22 June after launch event
Amazon India has put up a teaser page on its website and searching through the source reveals that the OnePlus 5 will feature 8 GB of RAM coupled with the latest Snapdragon 835 processor.
OnePlus has officially announced that it would be hosting a launch event for their next flagship Oneplus 5 on 22 June in India. It has also been revealed that the phone is expected to go on sale on the very same day on Amazon.in, which will be the exclusive retail partner for the handset.The announcement is at 2 PM and sales are expected to start at 4:30 PM. Amazon India has already put up a teaser page on its website and searching through the source code has revealed some interesting information . One of them is the fact the OnePlus 5 will feature 8 GB of RAM coupled with the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. A cheaper 6 GB variant hasn't been ruled out as of now.According to a report by Android Police which revealed a press render, confirms that the handset will be slimmer and smaller than the OnePlus 3T . Recent leaked images show that the smartphone will look eerily similar to the Oppo R11 smartphone, except for the Alert Slider of the left side and the OnePlus logo on the back. The OnePlus 5 will sport a dual camera giving it a iPhone 7 plus-like look, at least on the back.
