OnePlus 5 expected to sport a dual camera setup, according to latest leaks

Latest renders for the upcoming flagship by OnePlus, the OnePlus 5, has hinted at a dual camera setup on the back. The presence of a dual camera setup is nothing out of the ordinary as almost every flagship smartphone right from Xiaomi, LG, Apple to Oppo and Vivo ship with a dual-camera setup, so we expected nothing less from the company.The leaked OnePlus 5 render looks extremely similar to OnePlus 3T Midnight Black version with its brushed aluminum design with curved edges.[caption id="attachment_373481" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Image Credit: India Today[/caption]The leaked render confirms that OnePlus is not shifting the fingerprint reader to the back and will stick with the current layout out, which has the fingerprint sensor on the front. The company has not issued any official statement about the upcoming smartphone, let alone the fact that the upcoming smartphone will be named OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 so we should take these leaks with a pinch of salt. According to a report by India Today, the design of the smartphone is not final yet and some aspects of the smartphone may change as OnePlus fine tunes the design.The OnePlus 5 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with 6 or 8 GB of RAM out of the box. The smartphone could come with an upgraded display panel with 2K display as reported earlier instead of the usual 1080p display in the OnePlus 3T.
