Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018) expected to launch today: When and where to watch live

All the three Nokia devices were first showcased at the MWC 2018 event in Barcelona and come with Google's Android One program.

A resurgent Nokia is holding an event at 12 pm today in Delhi and it is highly likely that we shall see the launch of Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 6 (2018). The devices were first showcased at the MWC 2018 event in Barcelona and we had a chance to get hands-on with the devices. You can check out our first impression videos of the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018).The Nokia 8 Sirocco is inspired by the fancy Nokia 8800 Sirocco, which was released more than a decade ago in 2006. The new Nokia 8 Sirocco carries forward the main elements of the 8800 with a body that is now made of steel (instead of steel armour).The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It also has a 12 MP (wide) + 13 MP (telephoto) camera accompanied by a dual-tone flash. The front-facing unit gets a downgrade with a 5 MP unit as opposed to the 13 MP PDAF unit on the older Nokia 8.

Nokia 7 Plus, is the plus-sized variant of the standard Nokia 7 model launched last year. Nokia has used the strong and sturdy 6000 series aluminium to construct the device. Inside, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256 GB using a micro SD card.

The 2018 version of the Nokia 6 seems to have fixed the most glaring issue of an underpowered 400-series Snapdragon SoC from Qualcomm to replace it with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC. HMD Global has added a Carl Zeiss-branded single lens camera on the back of the device. Other minor changes include a reversible Type-C connector and Bluetooth v5.0 in place of microUSB port and Bluetooth v4.1.
