The price of the Nokia 5 sees a more moderate cut to Rs 12,499, which is just Rs 1,000 less than its launch price, confirms GizmoChina. The price cut of the Nokia 8 is particularly interesting as it now puts the phone in contention with several of last year’s most important phones in the budget flagship segment. Toting a Snapdragon 835 platform and 4 GB of RAM, the Nokia 8 is now cheaper than the similarly specced OnePlus 5T and Honor 8 Pro.In our review of the Nokia 8, we noted that the camera wasn’t particularly great, but we liked everything else. At its original price, the Nokia 8 seemed too pricey. At the current price, we feel that it’s a great deal, but only if you’re not especially picky about the camera. For its price, the Nokia 8 offers a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560x1440, a Snapdragon 835 with a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor and an Adreno 540 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The cameras include a dual 13 MP setup at the rear and a single 13 MP setup on the front. All cameras have an aperture of f/2.0.The Nokia 5 offers a 5.2-inch HD display (1280x720), Snapdragon 430 SoC, 16 GB storage and either 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM. The cameras include a 13 MP f/2.0 rear camera and an 8 MP f/2.0 front camera.
