Nike has unveiled a new iteration of its FuelBand. The new version, titled the Nike+ FuelBand SE, looks almost the same as the original FuelBand. However, it comes with a host of colour options for the inside of the band. The colours include crimson, pink foil and vault. The outside of the band, however, will remain black.

The FuelBand SE has also received an upgrade to functionality. It has gotten some fine-tuning to how your Fuel is tracked. It can now better identify movements, rather than just detecting arbitrary flicks of the wrist. It now also supports Bluetooth 4.0 for low energy consumption, an improved design for flexibility and weather sealing, hourly reminders to move around and a double-tap shortcut on the home button that brings up the time. The FuelBand SE has colour options

"The Nike+ Fuel Lab, along with new Nike+ FuelBand SE and Nike+ Apps significantly enhance our NikeFuel platform."

The FuelBand’s companion app on the iOS has been updated as well. It now features Fuel Curve, which shows a user’s hourly movements, with the minimum being five minutes per hour to achieve an hourly goal. Tracking for weekly goals has also been improved with an improved interface in landscape mode.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
