A new leak has surfaced about the newest installation of the Samsung Galaxy Note series, the Galaxy Note 3. Sim Only Radar was able to uncover a few sketches of the device’s design as well as some new specifications that the device may come with.

From what can be seen so far, the codename for the Galaxy Note 3 is said to be SM-N900. Apart from what is known so far, it also seems like the Note 3 will come with a xenon flash as well as a dedicated camera button. This is a step up from the Note 2, which made use of an LED flash. This Note 3 concept looks right on the money (Image credit: uva7 dance)

From all the leaked images so far, it looks like the Note 3 will sport a very thin bezel and should come running the now standard Android Jelly Bean operating system. It is still uncertain if the device will come with Jelly Bean 4.2 or 4.3, though.Leak reveals sketches of the Samsung Note 3 (Image credit: SIM Only Radar)

So far, the leak points to a strong possibility of the Note 3 coming with a 5.7-inch display, which is going to be bigger than the Note 2, but is still a bit smaller than the earlier rumoured 6-inch screen. Resolution-wise, the Note 3 should be coming with 1920 x 1080 pixels, which will give it a pixel density of 386 ppi.

The leak also gave out another intriguing piece of information. The Note 3 may come in at least two different versions. While one version is said to come with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor, the other version may sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3GHz. There have been rumours of the Note 3 coming to markets later this year. For now, it is likely that the Note 3 will be launched at IFA in Berlin at the start of September, similar to how the Note 2 was launched.
