New book reveals that Microsoft's Andromeda foldable device to come in 2019

The Microsoft device is said to be just like the foldable Samsung phone that we witnessed in November.

With the onset of the folding smartphones in the mobile industry, it looks like that Microsoft is also eager to join the game. Tomsguide[/caption]As per a report by Tom's Guide, a book published by journalist and Microsoft tech blog Thurrot.com collaborator Brad Sams says that Project Andromeda is said to reality in the first half of 2019. The device is said to be just like the foldable Samsung phone that we witnessed a glimpse of in November.The Andromeda device will be running more like Microsoft's Surface laptops rather than running on an OS such as Android. The book also mentions that the company managed to create $1 billion a year business out of their Surface lineup.Apart from this, there is not much information about this new foldable smartphone from Microsoft, but one thing is becoming clear and it is that the future of smartphones is definitely foldable. We have seen earlier reports of LG, Apple, and Huawei also working on foldable type smartphones which should be coming out in the next one to two years.
