Motorola announces the Moto G5S and G5S Plus for € 249 and € 299 respectively

Lenovo's Motorola has announced two new smartphones, the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. Both the devices are new and will join the existing Moto G5 series. The G5S and G5S Plus offer upgrades in terms of internals over the original Moto G5 and G5 Plus devices.[caption id="attachment_3886781" align="alignleft" width="380"] Motorola. Reuters[/caption]The Moto G5S will sport aluminium unibody all-metal design with a 3000 mAh battery. Moto claims that the phone will have enough juice to last an entire day. The device will pack a turbo charger in the box which can give 5 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. It will come with a 5.2-inch FHD screen powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz.Moto G5S will come with a 16 MP camera module on the back along with a 5 MP wide-angle camera module on the front with LED flash. The phone will also come with the Quick Reply and Night display features as part of the Moto Experience. Moto has also added a fingerprint sensor which can be used to make payments.[caption id="attachment_3886765" align="alignnone" width="825"] Moto G5S. Motorola[/caption]The Moto G5S Plus, on the other hand, comes with slight variation in terms of specifications from the Moto G5S. The major difference is the inclusion of a dual 13 MP camera setup on the back of the Moto G5S Plus with the ability for selective focus. Motorola[/caption]G5S plus also packs an all-metal unibody design but unlike the G5S, this one comes with an upgraded octa-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2 GHz. The rest of the features are same on both the devices. Moto G5S is priced at 249 Euro (approx Rs 19,000) and the Moto G5S Plus is priced at 299 Euro (approx Rs 22,500). The phones will be available for purchase globally starting this month.
