Microsoft is bringing back the Intellimouse with DPI range up to 3200; expected to launch soon in the market

It will come with firm scroll wheel and a DPI range of up to 3200. For the uninitiated, DPI or Dots per Inch is a measurement of how sensitive the mouse is. Higher the DPI, farther the cursor on your screen will move when you move your mouse. The high DPI in this upcoming Intellimouse suggests that it may sport an optical sensor rather than the traditional laser sensor.The company has not announced any availability or pricing details for the 'Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse' at the time of writing. The listing shows a 'Coming Soon' label hinting that it could launch in coming weeks. It is not known if the new Intellimouse will have the exact same button configuration as in the original gaming mice or it will come with a revamped button configuration. However, it is likely that the mouse may come with some kind of inbuilt software as reported by Kotak.au.
