Meizu m2 launched in China; to sport Android 5.1, 13MP camera, MediaTek MT6735 SoC

Chinese phone maker Meizu has launched its update to the m1 called the Meizu m2. This entry level phone is priced at Chinese Yuan 599 (approx Rs 6,200) and will come in colours such as blue, pink, grey and white.The Meizu m2 will come with a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage front, you will get 16GB eMMC memory and you can expand it to up to 128GB using a microSD card slot. The phone features a dual SIM configuration and the second SIM card slot can be interchangeably used as a microSD card slot.The Meizu m2 comes with a polycarbonate unibody design and features a 5-inch HD display covered by Asashi Dragontrail protective glass surface. The phone features Android 5.1 OS with Meizu's Flyme UI 4.5 skin atop it.On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture along with an LED flash unit. On the front, you have a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone supports 4G FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, among other things.The India launch date and price of the Meizu m2 has not been announced yet.
