Manual Update to Android 2.3.4 Now Available for Nexus S
For the impatient among us.
Earlier today, we told you that the next Android update would allow Video Chat via Gtalk for Android users. The update was expected to roll out in a few weeks, but it seems Google have already released a manual update for Nexus S users. It’s not an over-the-air (OTA) update, but this update is in all likelihood the same one that will get pushed onto most Nexus S’ over the next few weeks.![Thar it is!]()

Unfortunately, the update is currently only available for those on build GRI40 on the i9020T Nexus S’. If your phone fulfills both of those requirements, you’re in luck and you can download the upgrade by visiting this XDA Developers Forum thread here. Otherwise, you’ll just have to sit tight and wait for the OTA update to come out, or for someone to port this update to your device.
