Longest Lunar Eclipse in 11 Years Tonight
Tonight, the moon may not shine in all its exuberance. Tonight may not come for the next many years.

Tonight, the moon may not shine in all its exuberance. Tonight may not come for the next many years. The moon, tonight will get eclipsed when the earth will cast its enormous shadow on it, and embark a 100-minute long lunar eclipse.![Consumed by darkness..]()

Consumed by darkness..
The Total Lunar eclipse which the world, or at least a chosen few regions would witness tonight is the longest in nearly 11 years. The earth would begin casting its shadow on the moon, and for a period of 100 minutes, which in fact is the longest since July 2000. Natives of Eastern half of Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Western Australia would witness this significant event. European natives will fail to catch the early stages of the eclipse, but the total eclipse would be a spectacle their side.
