Lenovo Vibe S1 with dual front camera to be launched in India today

Initially unveiled at the IFA 2015, Lenovo is all set to launch its Vibe S1 in India today at an event held in New Delhi. The highlight of the Lenovo Vibe S1 is the dual front camera setup. The device carries a price tag of $299, which translates to approximately Rs 19,500.It sports a 5.0-inch Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 CPU, paired with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In addition, the phone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus, an 8MP main front-facing shooter along with a 2MP secondary front camera.The company had announced three new smartphones at the IFA – the Vibe P1, Vibe P1m and Vibe S1. In addition, the company had also introduced new Phab and Phab Plus tablets. At a recent event in India, announcing its new logo and tag line, Lenovo had said it was committed to India in terms of investment in areas of manufacturing and research and development.Lenovo Chairman and CEO, Yang Yuanqing along with Lenovo Executive Council and the Indian Leadership Team, showcased a range of PCs, smartphones, tablets and other technologies at an event called ‘Innovation Never Stands Still’ that took place on 18 November.
