Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Tango smartphone finally goes on sale

After a long wait, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, or better known as the first Tango smartphone, is now available online. The smartphone was launched earlier this year and likely to go on sale sometime between September and December after the US company page changed the 'coming in summer' tag earlier this year to 'coming this fall'. So, it is now available to buy on the company website and listed at $499 that translates to roughly at Rs 33,000.Lenovo has built the device featuring a 6.4-inch QuadHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. An ‘assertive display’ that adapts to variable lighting like sunlight and light reflections. It has an 8.9mm thick aluminium unibody with fingerprint scanner functionality on the backside.The internals include an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage with microSD support.  You also get Dolby Atmos audio features such as the ability to record in 5.1 surround sound. It comes equipped with 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras. The company promises 0.3 second super-fast focus. The Tango phone also comes with depth-sensing infrared and motion tracking cameras. It runs Android Marshmallow and a 4,050mAh battery completes the package.Google also wants to ensure that you get a tour of museums, malls and so on using Tango, giving you the feeling of being right there.
