Lenovo launches Tab 2 A7-10 with quad-core processor for Rs 4,999 only

Lenovo has launched a new tablet in the Indian market called Tab 2 A7-10 for a low-price of Rs 4,999 only. The tablet will go on sale on Snapdeal.com exclusively and was recently showcased at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2015.The tablet is 9.3 mm thin and weighs 269 grams. It has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel IPS display, with a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad-core processor and it runs Android 4.4. KitKat. Lenovo says it will get the Android L update to this tab although the date is not yet decided.The tablet has 1 GB RAM, 8GB total internal storage space and a microSD card slot with up to 32GB as the limit. It also has a front speaker powered by Dolby Audio.Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It has a 0.3 megapixel front camera and no rear camera. Sensors include: G sensor and a vibration sensor. It has a 3,450mAh battery.“This new tablet offers the great build quality and reliability of the Lenovo brand at an affordable price point. We are very confident that this product will redefine the value proposition of the entry level tablet segment and make tablets more attractive to customers. We have partnered with Snapdeal for the first time to tap their unparalleled reach across the length and breadth of the country,” said Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India in a press release.The tablet will be available in a black colour and hits the website for sales today.
