LeEco claims 3,00,000 registrations for the Le 1s in 5 days

After launching two of its smartphones – Le Max and Le 1s on 20 January – LeEco opened up pre-registrations for the two devices available exclusively on Flipkart.

After launching two of its smartphones – Le Max and Le 1s on 20 January – LeEco opened up pre-registrations for the two devices available exclusively on Flipkart.The company has now announced that over the first 5 days, the Le 1s alone has notched up 3 lakh pre-sale registrations, as of 25 January at 7 pm. LeEco believes the number of pre-registrations for the Le 1s could be the new benchmark for online sales of devices.(Also read: First impressions of the Le 1s)According to Atul Jain, COO India, Smart Electronic Business, LeEco, the company is pleased with the response to the Le 1s. He said, "the  response to  Le1 S is gaining momentum with every passing day  and going by the current pre-sale registration numbers, we should be setting new sale records for Superphones in India. This is surely a consumer validation of our core propositions of breakthrough technology, comprehensive eco system and sustainable pricing."LeEco had opened pre-registrations for the Le 1s on 20 January, and would stay open till 11am on 2 February. The company also announced that customers who purchase the device using an Axis Bank card could avail 10 percent cash back.(Also read: Review of the LeEco Le Max)The Le 1s is the latest entrant in the Rs 11000 range and offers a 64-bit octacore Helios X10 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. In addition, the device has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a bezel-less unibody metal design. The Le 1s also offers a fingerprint scanner and quick charge. LeEco claims that minutes of charge offers 3.5 hours of talktime.
