Last week Lava launched the 7-inch QPAD tablet, and now iBall follows with its new Slide 3G 7271-HD70, listed on the company’s official website. The Slide 7271-HD70 is priced at an MRP of Rs 8,999, but is currently selling for an introductory price of Rs 8,299. It is the successor to the Slide 3G 7271 HD7 launched earlier in January. It is also available via online retailers for as low as Rs 7,799. Just like its predecessor,  the Slide 3G 7271 HD7 also comes with dual-SIM capability along with 3G support. It sports a 7-inch display with 600x1024 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor along with 1GB RAM. However, the chipset is not specified. The 3G 7271-HD70 features a 2-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. On the storage front, it gets an 8GB onboard storage compared to the 4GB found in its predecessor. There is no word on expandable  memory slot. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS. It packs in a 3,000mAh battery. Last month, the company had launched the Slide 3G17 dual-SIM 7-inch tablet for Rs 7,649. The iBall Slide 3G17 came with a similar set of specs as the company’s Slide 7236 2G, but had been upgraded to support 3G.
