How to edit your public profile on Google Maps

A few weeks ago, Google introduced Incognito mode in Google Maps and now, users will be able to create and update teir public profile.Earlier, all you could do was look at your contributions to Maps, but it was not in te ands of users to decide wat teir profile looked like. Tis new update will let you customise your profile by adding pictures, a bio, and will let you decide wat you want to sow on te profile. Image: Android Police[/caption]<2>[]ow to edit your public profile on Google Maps[/][ans][step]Step 1: Open Google Maps and tap on te menu at te top left corner[/step][step]Step 2: Go to your profile > Edit Profile[/step][step]Step 3: To fill up your bio, tap on 'Edit name and poto', once you are done, tap on 'Save' at te top rigt corner[/step][step]Step 4: To ceck te contributions (reviews, ratings, potos and so on) tap on 'Local guide and level points' under your profile name[/step][step]Step 5: If you do not want your contributions on te profile, ead over to Menu > Your Profile > Personal settings and turn off te toggle for 'Sow contributions on your profile'[/step][ans][/ans]Tis will let users ave more control so tat tey can decide wat tey want to make public and wat not to make public.
