Honor 7X spotted on Geekbench with a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor and 4 GB RAM on board

In terms of hardware, the phone houses 4 GB of RAM and is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor which, according to the report, may be the Kirin 659 chipset from Huawei.When put to the test, Huawei BND-AL10 scored a single-core score of 909 and a multi-core score of 3159, which goes to show that the phone may be priced in the mid-range category.Earlier reports by Geekbench stated that the phone will be having dual-camera setup and would most likely challenge the Xiaomi Mi A1 in pricing. The phone is rumoured to also be sold outside of China, just like the Honor 6X.Recently Huawei launched a fresh variant of the Honor 9, named Honor 9i in India on 5 October. The phone has a four-lens camera setup, boasting of a first in any smartphone. While the camera performance of the phone is yet to be put through its paces, it should give the recently launched Xiaomi A1 and Vivo V7+ a good fight, at least on paper given its tag of Rs 17,999.
