Here's a Guitar with a Multi-Touch Interface Instead of Strings
This guitar looks incredibly cool, but I also super intelligent, as it can be customised endlessly.

Look Ma, no strings! That’s what I’ll say when I get my hands on this guitar. Well, actually that’s what everyone will say, as it doesn’t really have any. I just read about this guitar on Yanko Design. It has been designed by a dude who goes by the name of Max Battaglia at Givingshape Design Studio and it looks super-cool. This guitar doesn’t have strings, as they have been replaced by a multi-touch interface.![Sleek looking digital axe]()

A guitar like this will obviously come with its own set of pros and cons. The pros are that the number of strings and frets can be adjusted along with the sound effects and tuning. So it won’t matter if you want a bass guitar or a regular six string. This guitar will make it happen. It also has a wireless command center which apparently allows for almost any kind of customisation. The downside will definitely be the feel of playing which will take a hit. Ask anyone who loves playing the guitar and they’ll probably say the same thing.
No strings on this one
I for one would love to try this baby out sometime, but who knows when that’ll happen. Of course, I’d take a Fender Telecaster over a digital wonder like this any day.
