GoogleTalking With Orkut
Google's social networking site, Orkut has added a new feature that allows its users to check if their contacts are online and even chat with them via instant messaging service, Google Talk. The service is available to all Orkut users, who will be able to make voice calls, leave voicemail, and transfer files.

The IM service in turn will also be compatible with Orkut in terms of the ability for users to 'scrap' their contacts on Orkut, receive instant notice when others scrap users, and jump to any Orkut profile directly from the messenger.
