Google rolling out stable Android Nougat 7.1.2 build for Nexus 6P beta testers

In what appeared to be a rather odd move, Nexus 6P users of Google's Android Beta program ended up being stuck on Android Nougat 7.1.2 beta while regular users received their stable update. While the reasons for the same were unclear, testers who were on the beta can now breathe a sigh of relief as Google as started to roll out the final 7.1.2 firmware update.The latest update is just 26MB in size and comes with the build number N2G47H. According to Android Police, the new update is specifically targetted at Nexus 6P users who were stuck with the beta build as mentioned above.The Android Nougat 7.1.2 update brings a number of improvements and bug fixes for Pixel smartphones in particular. It resolves the early shutdown issue along with those who experience the pink banding on the camera. Add to this a fix for the audio cracking experienced by some users when the speaker was played at high volumes.As usual there were performance and stability improvements as well.Those who updated their smartphones initially were also being offered another OTA update that led them back to the beta build. Oddly this turned out to be minor glitch and the issue should now be solved.
