Google lets you invite non-Google users to Hangouts

Google has announced a new feature for Hangouts chat and video calling app. This will allow meeting organisers to invite even those users to calls who don't have Google accounts.The new update will now allow businesses to connect with users by simply sharing a link. Users can then join the video call by simply clicking on the link."No filling in forms, no need for a Google account, just simple, easy access to meetings. Connect with teammates and get things done, while maintaining the control and security you need in a work environment," the official Google blogpost states.Users can invite external guests with Google Calendar. They have to click on a link in the event description and fill in their name. In order to help give control and security over meetings, users will also get a prompt to accept/deny their entry whether using web, mobile or Chromebox for meetings.Talking about security, Google further explains that with security features like locking video meetings to those within an organization and muting and ejecting participants, users will find the right level of security to match the organization’s needs.
